Driving sustainability and accelerating digitalization
The world is undergoing two major changes: the rapid development of artificial intelligence and the promotion of global climate change solutions. These changes have reshaped the global economic and industrial landscape, impacted international strategic position, and redefined key development drivers. As emerging economies, the BRICS countries have unique advantages in leading these changes by establishing necessary infrastructure, assisting domestic enterprises, and formulating connectivity standards and regulations.
To support these efforts, we have proposed an initiative strategic project to establish an international alliance of BRICS countries. This includes the establishment of the “Green Digital Carbon” Economic Committee and the establishment of committee offices in Xiamen, Taipei, and Singapore. These efforts not only aim to strengthen regional cooperation and promote technological cooperation, but also play a key role in supporting the BRICS countries in promoting artificial intelligence and green economy, paving the way for a hopeful future.
The Green Digital Carbon Economy Committee will work closely with the Global Digital Carbon Economy Alliance established in 2023, which is composed of experts in artificial intelligence technology, new energy, chips, carbon trading, and finance from China, Macau, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, and Silicon Valley. The goal is to promote the development of the global digital carbon economy ecosystem with a comprehensive framework and implementation plan.
This strategic initiative will significantly enhance the position of the BRICS countries in the new global economic system. This will promote their development in the fields of artificial intelligence and green economy, promote sustainable development and international cooperation. Ultimately, these efforts aim to make a positive contribution to achieving the global goal of carbon neutrality by 2050 and inject hope for a more sustainable future.
IMPLEMENTATION
In order to receive Alliance support, a project must be consistent with the global goals and current objectives of the Organization.All projects are reviewed by the Alliance Directorate, and can also undergo expert assessment by one of the specialized Partners.
We are open to dialogue with any project initiators, and in order to increase the efficiency of BRICS, we kindly ask you to use the project application system within our Platform.In case of active participation, seeking consultations and multiple submissions of applications, the Project Applicant must be the current Founder or Partner.
Legally, the Alliance is an international non-profit organization registered on the territory of the Russian Federation, one of the BRICS members.The organization is open to new members and provides two main formats – Founder and Partner.The formats differ in the size of mandatory contributions, obligations for active participation and opportunities in terms of the level of decision-making within the Alliance.
The Founders take part in the regular Council of the Alliance and can influence the process of accepting new Founders or Partners.Partners are deprived of the need to participate in formal events, and at the same time fully participate in shaping the agenda of the Alliance Projects.
Initially, some of the projects were initiated by the leadership of the Alliance.At the same time, management representatives are Founders along with all other participants of the Organization.Therefore, all Alliance projects are equal, and any new participant can initiate a project that will appear on this page tomorrow.
Socially important projects receive a corresponding icon on the Platform and on this page of our official website.It allows a project to remain at the top of the list as new ones appear.
For advanced projects of high technological, economic or social interest, the Alliance provides special conditions for the prompt involvement of the partner and the evaluation of the project itself.
Applicants for socially important projects, as well as projects related to the strategic security of the BRICS and BRICS+ countries, can count on the priority support of the Alliance. In some cases, we are ready to support projects of third-party organizations, which requires a separate approval of the Founders.
